Privacy Policy
Last updated: October 15, 2026
This Privacy Policy explains how Kimon Games collects, uses and shares information when you play our mobile and web games, contact us, or visit kimongames.org (together, the "Services"). It applies to:
- Dominus: Gladiator Arena RPG
- Gladiator Arena: Rise
- Gladiator Arena: Sword & Glory
- Space Pirates: Conquer
1. Who we are
Kimon Games is an independent game studio. Kimon Games is the data controller responsible for the personal data processed through the Services. You can reach us at [email protected].
2. Information we collect
Information you give us
- Account details: email address, username or player name, and the player ID we assign to you. If you sign in with a platform account (such as Google Play Games, Game Center, Sign in with Apple or Google Sign-In), we receive the account identifier and any details that platform shares with your permission.
- Player content: chat messages, private messages, clan names and other content you create or send in our games.
- Support messages: what you write to us and any screenshots or files you attach.
Information collected automatically
- Gameplay data: progress, level, items, battle results, rankings, and how you use game features.
- Purchase history: which in-app items you bought and the store transaction ID. Payments are processed by Apple or Google; we never receive your card or bank details.
- Device and technical data: device model, operating system, language, app version, IP address, and device identifiers such as an install or app-instance ID.
- Advertising identifiers: in games that show ads, the Google Advertising ID (Android) or Identifier for Advertisers (iOS), only where your device settings and consent allow it (see section 4).
- Diagnostics: crash logs and performance data.
Information we do not collect
Our games do not access your precise location, contacts, photos, camera, microphone or health data, and we do not ask for sensitive personal data such as your ethnicity, religion or political views. Please do not share such information in chat.
3. How we use information and our legal bases
- To run the games and your account (saving progress, matchmaking, PvP, clans, chat, delivering purchases). Legal basis: performance of our contract with you.
- To keep the games fair and secure (detecting cheating, fraud, abuse and account takeovers, and moderating chat). Legal basis: our legitimate interests and, where applicable, legal obligations.
- To fix and improve the games (crash analysis, balancing, understanding which features are used). Legal basis: our legitimate interests.
- To show ads in games that contain ads. Personalized ads are shown only with your consent where the law requires it; otherwise ads are non-personalized. Legal basis: consent (personalized ads) or legitimate interests (non-personalized ads).
- To answer support requests and send service messages (for example about your account or a purchase). Legal basis: contract and legitimate interests.
- To comply with the law (tax and accounting records, responding to lawful requests). Legal basis: legal obligation.
We do not use your data for automated decisions that have legal or similarly significant effects on you.
4. Advertising (Google AdMob)
Some of our games (currently Dominus: Gladiator Arena RPG and Gladiator Arena: Rise) show ads served by Google AdMob. Gladiator Arena: Sword & Glory and Space Pirates: Conquer do not show third-party ads. When ads are shown, Google may collect your advertising identifier, IP address, device information and ad interactions to deliver, measure and, with your consent, personalize ads. Learn how Google uses this data at policies.google.com/technologies/partner-sites.
- EEA, UK and Switzerland: we ask for your consent through Google's consent message before personalized ads or related data processing take place. You can change your choice later from the game's privacy settings, where available, or by contacting us.
- iOS: we access your device's advertising identifier only if you allow tracking in Apple's App Tracking Transparency prompt. You can change this anytime in Settings > Privacy & Security > Tracking.
- Android: you can delete or reset your advertising ID in Settings > Privacy > Ads (or Settings > Google > Ads).
5. How we share information
We do not sell your personal information for money. We share it only with:
- Service providers that act on our behalf: our hosting provider (servers located in Germany, EU), Cloudflare (network delivery and security), and Google and Apple (app stores, sign-in, game services and payment processing).
- Advertising partners: Google AdMob, as described in section 4.
- Other players: your player name, avatar, rankings, clan membership and chat messages are visible to other players.
- Legal and safety reasons: when required by law or a valid legal request, or to protect the rights, safety and security of our players, our Services or others.
- Business transfers: if our games or business are sold or transferred, in which case this policy will continue to protect your data.
6. International transfers
Our game servers are located in the European Union. Some providers, such as Google and Cloudflare, may process data in other countries, including the United States. When personal data is transferred outside the EEA or the UK, we rely on safeguards permitted by applicable law, such as standard contractual clauses or adequacy decisions.
7. How long we keep data
- Account and gameplay data: while your account is active. When you delete your account, we delete or anonymize it within 30 days.
- Purchase records: as long as tax and accounting laws require.
- Server and security logs: for a limited time, normally no longer than 90 days, unless needed to investigate abuse.
- Support messages: up to 2 years after your last message.
8. Your rights
Depending on where you live, you may have the right to access, correct, delete or export your personal data, to object to or restrict certain processing, and to withdraw consent at any time (this does not affect processing before the withdrawal).
- EEA, UK and Switzerland (GDPR): you can also complain to the data protection authority in your country.
- California and other US states: you can request to know, delete and correct your personal information, and opt out of "sharing" for cross-context behavioral advertising by declining personalized ads (see section 4) or by contacting us. We will not discriminate against you for using these rights.
To make a request, email [email protected] from the address linked to your account, or include your player ID. We may need to verify your identity and will respond within the time required by law, normally within one month.
9. Deleting your account
You can delete your account and its data from the game's settings, or by emailing us. Step-by-step instructions are on our account deletion page.
10. Children
Our games are not directed to children under 13 (or the higher minimum age in your country, such as 16 in some EEA countries). We do not knowingly collect personal data from children below that age. If you believe a child has given us personal data, contact us and we will delete it.
11. Security
We protect your data with encryption in transit (HTTPS/TLS), access controls and restricted server access. No system is perfectly secure, but we work to protect your information and will notify you and the authorities of a data breach where the law requires.
12. This website
kimongames.org does not use analytics or advertising cookies. Our network provider Cloudflare may set strictly necessary security cookies and processes your IP address to deliver the site and protect it from attacks.
13. Changes to this policy
We may update this policy from time to time. We will change the "Last updated" date above and, for significant changes, notify you in the game or on this website.
